Le moteur de levage hydraulique fournit la puissance n\u00e9cessaire pour lever et descendre en douceur. Le moteur d'entra\u00eenement \u00e9lectrique fournit l'\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire pour avancer, reculer et se retourner. Le principe de fonctionnement est diff\u00e9rent de celui de l'\u00e9l\u00e9vateur \u00e0 ciseaux autopropuls\u00e9 \u00e0 entra\u00eenement hydraulique. L'\u00e9l\u00e9vateur \u00e0 ciseaux de 19 pieds se d\u00e9place et se soul\u00e8ve par l'interm\u00e9diaire d'une batterie.
